BackgroundThe name 'Red Cell' is derived from the mechanism used by military organisations to test Strategic and Operational plans during high level national and international exercise scenarios. The 'Red Cell' is a team of military planners and analysts that are directed by exercise controllers to operate as 'Red (enemy) forces'. Red Cell is tasked to assess the weaknesses in the 'Blue (friendly) forces' strategy and operational plans and subsequently devise tactics to defeat them. Red Cell Security Limited adopts a similar approach when assessing risk to an individual, company or organisation.
