Red Cell Security: Threat Vulnerability Assessments (TVA)

Risk Management: Threat Vulnerability Assessment

Our consultants conduct sector specific Threat Vulnerability Assessments (TVA) to accurately determine the security profile of a client and the potential internal and external hazards and threats that may adversely affect business operations.  By looking at security from the threat perspective and working closely with our clients, Red Cell is able to identify the key vulnerabilities and adversary routes to assets.  Assets may include people, property, data, products, raw materials and critical business processes such as manufacturing or supply and distribution chains.

Whilst we offer specialist services, we maintain a wide focus on all aspects of risk when conducting an assessment.  We will look at your organisations cultural traditions and the impact they may have on the political, social and economic environment.  We also identify threats to your supply and distribution logistics chains.

Our survey of your company will result in the production of a comprehensive security report and summary action plan that identifies cost effective improvements to your security control measures in priority order.  As well as physical security, this includes the creation and implementation of effective security policies and procedures through provision of security documentation, Incident Management and Business Continuity Management Plans and the associated staff implementation training.

Case History

Members of Red Cell were tasked at short notice to conduct a Threat Vulnerability Assessment on two installations of British interest in a West African country.  The task was conducted under very dangerous conditions in a deteriorating climate of civil war.

A Threat Vulnerability Assessment was completed, the findings of which exposed a number of security inadequacies.  Security counter measures were immediately implemented and security procedures were updated.  A continuous support program was also maintained throughout the period of civil unrest.

The advice of the Team not only stopped safety protocols being violated, but also allowed personnel to confidently continue best business practice.
